Can Josh do live Q&A with my audience?
Can Josh do live Q&A with my audience? Yes! Josh loves interacting with audiences. After you screen and discuss the movie, Josh can join your group live for 15-30 minutes of question and answer using a video conference module such as Skype. Your audience can ask him questions by raising their hands and asking directly or, if they prefer, via text message on their cell phones or via instant message on their laptops. The later options ensure that audience members feel free to ask difficult or otherwise embarrassing questions and allow individuals with speech impairments to participate. After the event, your group can continue to keep in touch with Josh and with each other by joining the official "Laughing at Our Differences" Facebook group. Yes, there is a captioned edition available. Have you done research on the efficacy of this program? Yes. Approximately 20% of an eighty-person audience responded to a survey by visiting a website after a "Laughing at Our Differences" event. We especially encourage you to read the unfiltered messages from students in the last question (click on "view"). Review the survey results. I'm a college disability services office without a budget. The movie encompasses many themes for which resources are readily available at most universities and colleges. In our experience, this is an event that creates excitement and interest across many different campus communities, so it won't be difficult for you to assemble a coalition of funding sources. For example, you may wish to contact:

You want your audience to apply the ideas to their lives and to their behavior. The best way to do this is by leading a discussion about how the concepts Josh discusses apply to your local community. Your discussion can follow either of these two different formats:
